Mikel Arteta has warned Arsenalโs lack of goals is โunsustainableโ and they will achieve โnothingโ unless they correct it.
The Gunners slumped to a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday which leaves them 15th in the Premier League after 11 games.
Arsenal have made their worst to a season since 1981 and their lack of goals is a huge concern.
Artetaโs side have scored just 10 times in 11 Premier League games – a tally that Spurs forward Heung-min Son has matched on his own.
Asked how he turns Arsenalโs form around, Arteta replied: โScoring goals, very simple.
โWe need to score goals. If not, it is unsustainable. It doesnโt matter what we do in the other departments of the pitch if we donโt score goals we can do nothing.
โSo we need to put the ball in the net urgently.โ

Arsenalโs defeat to Tottenham was a painful one as it means Spurs remain top of the Premier League.
The Gunners had plenty of possession during the match and put countless crosses into the box, but they failed to find a way through.
Arteta, however, has defended his tactics after becoming just the second Arsenal manager to lose each of his first two north London derbies, after Bertie Mee in 1966-67.
โIn terms of the performance they (the players) did everything that I asked them to do, absolutely everything,โ said Arteta.
โWe played the way that I believe we have to play this game. You look at all the stats, they are in our favour, but at the end of the day, it is about putting the ball in the box.
โThe first situation they had from 30 yards, they put it in the top corner. You have to applaud it. The second, Thomas [Partey] has to come off, he cannot fill the gap that he should be in and we get done just before we had an open situation to score a goal as well.
โAfter that, in this moment, normally the team would fall, and the team got better after the first one, the team got better after the second one.
โThey tried to generate situations. We had the chances. We generated, probably more than ever this season. We put the ball in the box more than ever. We had the numbers there.
โBut at the end of the day we have to score the goals and when we had a half-chance, they score and at the moment we havenโt.
โTo build something you need results. I take a lot of positives for the way we play. When you come here, in this moment and play with the personality, the courage, the passion, the energy, the belief that boys showed, but in the end it is a football match.
โYou have to win it and we lost again today.โ
