The Energy & Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) is a State Corporation established under the Energy Act 2019 and is responsible for Economic and Technical Regulation of Electric Power, Renewable Energy, Upstream, Midstream and Downstream Petroleum sub-sectors. The Authority is seeking to recruit suitable Kenyan citizens to fill the following vacant positions:
1. DEPUTY DIRECTOR PETROLEUM- GRADE 3 (1 POSITION ON CONTRACT TERMS)- RE-ADVERTISED
Reporting to the Head of Directorate, the successful candidate will be responsible for inter alia developing and implementing standards, codes of practice and subsector frameworks and guiding research in the sub-sector in the country.
2. DEPUTY DIRECTOR, ELECTRICITY- GRADE 3 (1 POSITION ON CONTRACT TERMS)- RE-ADVERTISED
Reporting to the Head of Directorate, the successful candidate will be responsible for inter alia guiding research in the sub-sector in the country, developing, and implementing standards, codes of practice and subsector frameworks.
3. DEPUTY DIRECTOR, CONSUMER PROTECTION- GRADE 3 (1 POSITION ON CONTRACT TERMS)
Reporting to the Director Enforcement and Consumer Protection, the successful candidate will be responsible for championing the rights all consumers in the energy and petroleum sub-sectors.
4. PRINCIPAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER- GRADE 4 (5 POSITIONS ON PERMANENT & PENSIONABLE TERMS)- (RE-ADVERTISED)
Reporting to the Deputy Director the successful candidate will be responsible for inspection of sites and facilities to ensure no illegal activities in the sector, and taking appropriate enforcement actions where necessary.
5. PRINCIPAL RESEARCH AND POLICY ANALYST- GRADE 4 (1 POSITION ON PERMANENT & PENSIONABLE TERMS)- RE-ADVERTISED
Reporting to the Deputy Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, collating and maintaining data and disseminating information and statistics with a view to support evidence-based policy formulation and decision making in the energy and petroleum sub-sectors.
6. PRINCIPAL ICT OFFICER- GRADE 4 (1 POSITION ON PERMANENT & PENSIONABLE TERMS)- RE-ADVERTISED
Reporting to the Manager ICT, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to ICT policies, procedures and standards.
7. PRINCIPAL RESOURCES MOBILISATION OFFICER- GRADE 4 (1 POSITION ON PERMANENT & PENSIONABLE TERMS)- RE-ADVERTISED
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Strategy and Performance, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating development and implementation of policies and strategies that will enhance the Authorityโs revenue streams.
